Enius awarded contract for wind turbine management at Drents Overijsselse Delta Water Authority

More than two years ago, we became involved in the development and construction of the new wind turbine for Drents Overijsselse Delta Water Authority. The project is now nearing completion, and we are proud to take the next step: from July, Enius will also be responsible for the technical and contractual management of this turbine.

This means our involvement does not end after commissioning. Instead, a new phase begins. A phase in which we ensure the energy system continues to perform optimally and the water authority achieves maximum returns from the sustainable energy it generates.

The turbine is an ENERCON E-138 EP3 E3, 4.5 MW. It is a new model within the EP3 series, equipped with the so-called e-nacelle. We look forward to supporting this turbine for many years to come.

What makes this project special?

What makes this project particularly special is its location on the site of a wastewater treatment plant. This requires careful coordination and strict safety procedures. These aspects received a great deal of attention during the construction phase and will remain important during the management phase.
