Windpark Oostpolder: delivering a complete solution

The challenge

The partnership dates back to 2017. Waddenwind was looking for a partner that could support the development and construction of its ambitious wind farm. With Enius, they found a partner that combined technical expertise with a strong focus on delivering results.

The turbines were commissioned in 2021. Since then, Enius has been responsible for the asset management of the wind farm and all related services, ranging from financial management to support in the area of wind farm cybersecurity. Waddenwind also uses the Topwind IPS system for ice safety management.

Our approach

For Windpark Oostpolder, Enius has delivered and continues to deliver all key services. During the construction phase, this included project engineering, tendering & contracting, project management and site management.

Today, Enius provides complete asset management for the operational phase, together with all associated services, including financial and technical management and cybersecurity support.

As part of this work, Enius carried out a cybersecurity assessment of the wind farm and continues to implement a range of improvement measures. Waddenwind also uses the Topwind IPS system to manage safety risks related to ice formation on the turbines.
