Control Room Operator

At Enius, we design, build and optimise energy systems for businesses with their own wind turbines, solar parks and/or battery energy storage systems. We are a close-knit and social team of dedicated specialists with a passion for our profession. Our Operations department manages multiple wind farms and solar parks. All of these sites are connected to our Control Room in Barneveld. From here, we monitor reliability, safety and performance, while maintaining control over ongoing activities and energy production.

Our Control Room team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide technical monitoring and follow up on deviations. Outside office hours, depending on the workload, this is done from home. Due to the expansion of our team, we are looking for a Control Room Operator.

Wat ga je doen?

As a Control Room Operator, you are part of our team of Operators and Asset Managers. You monitor our online systems and live camera feeds and analyse the performance of the wind farms and solar parks we manage. You communicate with clients and suppliers and coordinate follow-up actions with the specialists within Enius. You ensure accurate registration of all relevant information and are also involved in data processing. You support our Asset Managers in preparing reports by providing the correct information on time. You enjoy working in rotating shifts and are available on standby for notifications during the night or at weekends. Naturally, an attractive allowance is provided for this. You enjoy variety in your work and are a valuable support to the team.

Due to our rapidly growing portfolio, we are preparing for a fully operational 24/7 shift schedule. This means that someone is always on duty to monitor and follow up on notifications. To support this, we intend to introduce a 2-2-2 shift pattern, consisting of two morning shifts, two afternoon shifts and two night shifts, followed by four days off. If you are interested in this position, you should be willing, in the future, to work according to this shift schedule.

• You have an MBO level of working and thinking;
• You have an affinity with technology;
• You have strong communication skills;
• You enjoy working with attention to detail and are accurate in your work;
• You are comfortable working with software and systems;
• You have a strong sense of responsibility;
• You are flexible and enjoy working in rotating shifts. You alternate between day, afternoon and night shifts, giving you regular days off during the week;
• You are a team player. Your colleagues support you when needed, and you are happy to support them in return;
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
